More than just an extension, Morrowind now represents the future of The Elder Scrolls Online. Thought about the various improvements made to the title since its release, this content with strong nostalgic resonance have the heavy task not to disappoint the expectations of a public probably rocked by the exotic ambience of TES III countries.
A whole new class appears in Morrowind: the Warden, a role strongly linked to nature. Accompanied or not by a powerful bear, the Warden is a hybrid class with three branches of talent. Its cold-oriented skill tree favors personal buffs and allied resistance. It can also become as solid as ice to tank with a certain class. A care-oriented branch makes the character very useful in group content and makes it one of the most versatile supports of the game at the moment.
The imposing urside standing by our side will not be left behind with a branch dedicated to wild beasts where the player accesses a more extensive panel of zone attacks and other crowd controls. The bear can be considered as an extra tank, capable of taking heavy damage without replacing a real player. Too bad that this branch of talent is so close to that of the summoner, most of the invocation spells give the impression of being simple modifications of appearance of techniques already present in game.
The arrival of the Warden in an extension such as Morrowind allow some players to make their return on the MMORPG with new gameplay to take charge. The Warden is an extremely powerful class when it comes to discussing the title of the title alone, which is rather good given the recent direction of the title.
The Elder Scrolls Online have added an incremental 378MB patch v3.0.11 including some fixes for the Grouping Tool and queuing issues as well as some changes to Battlegrounds and Cyrodiil campaigns. There are also some fixes involving gameplay, dungeons, and quests.
We have a number of changes affecting PvP and Battlegrounds in this patch:
The Almalexia (7 day No-CP) campaign has closed, and taking its place is Shor, a new 7-day CP enabled campaign.
Anyone previously assigned to Almalexia will be given a free home reassignment, and any leaderboard rewards will be granted if the campaign is mid-duration when shut down just as if it had completed naturally.
Added a new 10-49 Grab Bag queue for Battlegrounds.
You will now receive more XP for finishing Battlegrounds.
When you first load into a Battleground, you may receive the error message, “Cannot determine compatible region”. Please ignore this; it will be fixed in a future patch.
Fixed an issue where the scoreboard would not update when players left or joined a game that’s in progress.

Halls of Fabrication Trial
Both Hunter-Killer Fabricants will now consistently reappear after being victorious against players.
If the Assembly General begins using Titanic Smash but fails to hit a target, it will immediately use Quake.
Combat & Gameplay
Updated the text on the skill refund notification to be more accurate.
Fixed an issue where you could farm some groups of monsters in unintended ways.
Fixed an issue where using a Dual Wield heavy attack would cause your character to not display the animations of subsequent abilities and attacks.
Crafting & Economy
Fixed an issue where two recipes that required Ash Canvas would consume all available Ash Canvas when crafted.
Crown Store & Crown Crates
Fixed an issue with the flavor text of the Crown Combat Mystic’s Stew and Crown Vigorous Ragout.
Previously, these stated they added regeneration, but they actually add max stats.
Dungeons & Group Content
Fixed an issue where you could see an “Instance Full” error message when you tried to jump to a dungeon you were already in.
Exploration & Itemization
Fixed an issue that prevented the second and third effects of crafted Poisons from being triggered by some area of effect abilities.
Fixed an issue where you could be placed back into a queue after accepting the Ready Check, or after a group forms, without any discernable reason.
Fixed an issue where you would receive a message that a player joining a group declined the Ready Check even if they accepted.
Quests & Zones
Fixed an issue where some quest items were not being removed from your inventory properly and ultimately causing blocked quest progression.
Soul Shriven in Coldharbour: You can no longer leave the zone through the Grouping Tool or Join Campaign functions, which was preventing you from going back to the area to complete the quest.
After being restructured thanks to the major update Tamriel, The Elder Scrolls Online has managed to restart the machine and become a serious actor in the MMORPG scene.
Far from stopping there, Bethesda wanted to restart the machine with a new extension: Morrowind.
A name that speaks to the fans of the first hour (the third hour, actually) of the series The Elder Scrolls, since it is to find the region explored in the third opus. A The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind that had propelled the series to the rank of cult RPG. In other words, we were anxious to put our feet back in the forests and mountains of our young years.
This extension proposes to you to find the island of Vvardenfell, and to pace the streets of the capital, Vivec, as well as other more modest cities like Seyda Neen and Balmora. And the least we can say is that the developers have taken care of this return. We find the same sets, the same streets, the same atmospheres … And what does the incoherence of time (7 centuries separate the original game from this extension in the chronology of the universe The Elder Scrolls) matter: It’s a real fan-service side assumed that will delight all the former players.
We thus find – in addition pretty, necessarily – these strange and exotic decorations, this particular fauna and flora…
In addition to this “new” environment, the Morrowind extension creates a new character. This is the custodian. In communion with nature, it allows to have companions animals (of which the bear, of course), which will fight by your side. You can also choose to evolve your spells related to plants and orient yourself more towards a role of healer. A class still rare, unfortunately, but so essential. You will also be able to choose to turn to the ice spells, for a character more naughty, more turned towards the side “tank”.
In any case, this new character is rather well balanced and allows to blend a bit the genres: playing a napping with some elements of healer, for example, allows to gain an essential role in a group of players.
You can choose to start the adventure directly, or make a little tutorial for newcomers and discover the gameplay.
You can also quite decide to take your character already created in the basic game. In this case, an introductory mission will allow you to make the link with the story. However, it should be noted that most players have decided to recreate a new character, using the new available class, to play this extension. If you land with your character already of a certain level, you risk galley a bit to find companions …
Solo dungeons and two public dungeons await you on the island of Vvardenfell. Note that between dungeons, main missions and other missions, between 30 and 40 hours of game are proposed to you in this extension. The campaign is much more focused on history, narration, than the original game. Some will find it a little long to start, a bit cozy at first, but it is clear that the developers have taken care of their scenario.
This extension also marks the arrival of the Battlegrounds. Arenas that can accommodate 3 teams of 4 players. 3 arenas are available and will be chosen randomly. Same for game modes (Deathmatch, Domination, Capture the Flag). Rapid parts (15 minutes max), rhythmic and which offer some interesting rewards. Daily quests related to these battlefields are also added to the game.
Finally, the production hall is the new event reserved for groups of 12 players. Two modes of difficulty are proposed. And the goal is to stop the Dwemer machines in the tower of Sotha Sil.
Let’s add a few things that were brought about by this extension, such as the possibility to buy a house in Vvardenfell, new craft plans, new objects, weapons, equipment … and we briefly went round.
Between success and flat, this The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind remains a good extension overall. In the ranks of the disappointments, one can mention that the will to make his game a totally open world whatever the level of the player poses worry when one meets very high level players, who still look good, Bore face weak creatures, or adventurers a little too “travelers” who are engulfed in fights that are clearly not for them, especially for the zone bosses. There will also be a lot of bugs, or some bread connection that can spoil a fight or a game. Or the lack of redesign of the interface. Finally, the content, although important, could clearly have been richer, especially for an extension to 40 €.
ScreenWhatever: there are many reasons for satisfaction. The new character class is particularly successful. The campaign is better, more scriptwritten, better writing … even if this extension gives pride to the solo game, more than to the game in group (a pit for a MMORPG). The fan-service and nostalgia side also works wonderfully, to find the places of Morrowind. Finally, the battlefields are really a good idea and the raid a success.
